In our forums, our members have been discussing Mizuno wedges. WRXer ‘Adam C’ is a big fan of the brand’s wedges and is perplexed as to why they seemingly don’t get more love:
“If nothing ‘feels’ like a Mizuno, I don’t understand how the irons can get so much play but not the wedges? I love my Mizuno wedges. Am I missing something?”
Our members have been sharing their thoughts on the company’s wedges in our forum, with many WRXers being fans of the clubs.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- Reds: “I have the T20s and really like them. I’ve always preferred Ping wedges but gave these a try when I got my MMCs. The check nice on pitches from tight lies, and the shape fits my eye.”
- Bye: “I had a set of T-4’s. They felt great, but I still think Vokey has the best range.”
- MTgolfer: “I think it’s just because they are not known for them. And I agree. I think they’re a little weird looking.”
- lefty1978: “I love Mizuno, but I mostly play Vokey for more options and grinds. Mizuno wedges are nice, feel is great, would have zero problem playing them. I really like the S18’s, felt better than the T7 or T20s to me. I still throw the S18 52 in from time to time. Best Mizuno wedges ever were the MP Series from the mid 2000’s; they felt exactly like the irons.”
