In our forums, our members have been reacting to the new 2021/22 PGA Tour schedule, which was released on Tuesday.

The schedule sees more events co-sanctioned between the PGA and European Tour, fewer WGC events, and the end of the Northern Trust Open (usually FedEx Cup playoff event), and our members have been having their say on the new schedule in our forum.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • getair23: “John Deere now two weeks before the British Open. Wonder how this will affect their ability to draw top names with many likely to now play Scottish Open the week prior to The Open.”
  • NormanFan: “Looks like the WGC’s are on the way out with only two events since the Mexico championship is no longer under the WGC umbrella.”
  • OOsteven: “WGC’s need an overhaul. Sad to see the Northern Trust out of the playoffs.”
  • 3whacker: “I’m actually glad to see the WGC events on the way out…they used to be big events, or maybe they were big events because TW dominated them, but it’s gotten to the point where there seemed to be a WGC event every month which really watered down the prestige behind them.”
  • Dave230: “Not bad moves. Interesting to see how the co-sanctioned Scottish Open works out. A WGC and a Playoff event fewer on the schedule than a few years ago is a welcome enough move. When the top players played 4 majors, Players, 4 WGCs and 4 Playoff events, that was the majority of their schedule for the year. Now it gives more space to play in the historic events on Tour.”
