Best club you’ve ever purchased?

Tsecor started an interesting thread posing the question: What single club purchase is the best of your golfing life? So grab a seat in the theater of memory and reflect on your favorite piece of artillery. Great replies, great discussion in this thread.
Poll: How many clubs do you own?
Operating assumption: Everyone visiting GolfWRX likes golf and golf equipment. Now, whether it’s a “say hello in passing” or a full-on “can’t live without you love” affair for most WRXers is unconfirmed. However, the poll in this thread shines a light into that darkness, and it seems, into garages full of golf clubs.

The white belt: Dead or alive?
This thread was originally started during the Presidents Cup in 2013, but it has picked up steam recently debating an important belt-related issue nearly as important as whether one’s shoes and belt ought to match. Is the white belt, which exploded in popularity on the PGA Tour in recent years, fading in popularity?
Nike Lunar Control artistry
GMoney76 kicked off a thread with a few of his own creations using Nike’s ID utility to style a pair of Lunar Control 4 shoes and asked to see what other GolfWRXers could come up with. The results were not disappointing.
The longest driver in PGA Tour history?
Comparing eras in golf, as they say, is a futile endeavor. However, that doesn’t make it any less fun to banter about on barstools, right? In that spirit, JD3 posed the question, “Who’s the longest hitter in Tour history?”
MadGolfer76 offered a by-era breakdown, naming Jack Nicklaus as the biggest hitter of the 60s and Dan Pohl as the top bomber of the 70s. With more than one hundred replies in the five days since the thread has been posted, WRXers are keen to offer their takes on the biggest hitters of them all.
And young Jack could really rip it, no?
