WRXers needed for a pair of golf ball tests
Would you like to test a golf ball with a hollow metal core? Sure you would. OnCore Golf is looking for a few club-swinging men (or women) to review their innovative offerings. To find out how to be considered as a tester, check out the thread.
A second golf ball test, this time for Srixon’s Soft Feel 2-piece balls. If you’d like a shot at testing Srixon’s offering, find you what you need to do by taking a gander at the thread.
If you could only have one wedge…
A great question from a WRXer with an equally great username, RecidivistGOLFER: “Is there a single wedge that you would use for approaches, sand, thick rough, pitching and lob shots?
I ask because I’m currently gaming 13 clubs and I think it’s too many. I’m trying to force myself to master fewer clubs and get better with each individually. I’m thinking a 54 or 56 with a good amount of bounce. Any thoughts?”

Rather shoot 13-under 59 or 12-under 58?
Jim Furyk’s PGA Tour record 58 last week has inspired a heated debate in the golf space. And like most significant discussions, this one has both been:
- Weighed in on in incendiary fashion by Brandel Chamblee
- The recipient of a dedicated thread in the GolfWRX forums.
So which is better? Which would you prefer? Does it matter?

Custom Shop Scotty and more
And finally, we’ll direct you to check our classifieds for first-rate, often custom displays of forged steel and titanium: In other words, awesome golf clubs, like this Scotty Cameron Newport 2, offered by user lowheel.
