In our forums, our members have been discussing forgiving forged irons. WRXer ‘monks66’ wants to know which forged irons are the most forgiving ever made, and our members have been sharing their picks in our forum.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- dmbolp: “I’m an old 15 and I love my PXG 0211ST’s. Last week compared them to Ping G430’s with similar graphite shafts, 0211 out-performed. Probably because I’ve been hitting the 0211 for 4 years now (had the Hogan FTX’s for about 10 years prior). Every once in awhile I think the grass might be greener/easier; have never kicked the forged irons out of the bag. Simple design, they feel like precision scalpels.”
- roundersmitty: “I think my New Level 623CB are really forgiving. They say the new 702 and 702+ are even more forgiving but I can’t justify the upgrade knowing how much I like the 623’s.”
- realmfg: “Old school, Mizuno MX23s. Forgiving and feel like butter.”
- taskerc: “The Nike Covert forged irons I recently picked up are shockingly forgiving for me. Misfits remind you you missed them but without much punishment and with not much loss in distance. I had PXG 0311Ps Gen2 and they were very deriving as well for a forged club.”
