Today’s Forum Thread of the Day comes from dcfas who opens up a discussion on Miura and Linksoul’s color theory irons collaboration. According to the company’s, the new color theory irons are a minimalist four-club set with no numbers – just colors. Our members have been sharing their thoughts on the new additions, the concept of a four-piece set on the market as well as the price tag ($1300).
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- ibradley: “I love the idea and am super tempted to order. Add a driver and putter and away you go!”
- howeber: “These look great. I’ve been working on putting together a short set with a very similar set up.”
- golfkrzy10: “I would rock this in a heartbeat, already play evens in a ten club bag……but $1300 for four clubs and KBS shafts…..yeah right! I like the minimalist short set 100%, but prices are ridiculous. Like pak said above “a lot of drinks after the round!!”
- Matty01984: “$1300 for four clubs…even if these were Titleist that would be an easy pass for me.”
- chipaputt: “I think this is a great idea. It would be a nice set for a par 3 course or a lighter walking bag. I do think adding a Sand wedge makes sense. The QC issues claim is ridiculous; Miura would never do that. I bet we see more of this with some tweaking in lofts, options and designs. A serious buyer can find a 15% off coupon and free shipping with minimal effort. I personally bought a set that way. This may not be for everyone, but I like it.”
