In our forums, our members have been reacting to Tony Jacklin’s comments last week that Sergio Garcia is “golf’s biggest underachiever” and that “Seve had more courage in his little finger than this lad”. Seve, the guy he’s comparing him to, had 5 not 10 or more and Seve was more talented than Sergio. Hogan, Player, Watson, Trevino, Palmer, Snead, Faldo – there’s some guys a lot closer to reality in terms of talking double-digit majors in terms of “what ifs” and they were more singular talents than Sergio.”
