In our forums, our members have been discussing PXG’s 0311 Gen2 wedges. WRXer ‘Mahamilto’ kicks off the thread, saying:
“Got the 0311P Gen 2 4-PW and oh man am I impressed. Are they light years better than the Mizuno HMBs I was playing, probably not, but they feel softer and are a touch more forgiving, so I’m thrilled considering their pricing was so low right now.
I’m considering adding the 0311 forged wedge in 50* and maybe 54*, but I can only find a single review. Seen lots of reviews of the sugar daddy, but those are still north of 400, and the 0311 G2 wedges are only 149 right now. Anyone playing them? Thoughts on feel/consistency/spin/ease of use?”
And our members have been sharing their experiences playing the wedges in our forum.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- hobbstc: “I play the original 0311 wedges and absolutely love them. I use 52/58 with the elevate tour stiff shafts.”
- chocolate_rehab: “Have them, love them. They’re quite soft but also feel solid. I play them all around the greens and for full shots too, and they stop. They’re also pretty forgiving; they fit into my full set perfectly.”
- new2g0lf: “I ordered the wedges that came with the set, Gen 2 0311P GW and SW and they are excellent. I use the Gen 2 60* wedge, and it’s been great as well.”
