In our forums, our members have been discussing 4-hybrids. WRXer ‘JamesWA’ recently put the Ping G425 4-hybrid in the bag and has been surprised as to how effective it’s been, saying:
“I’ve had a Ping G425 4 hybrid for six months. It’s my first hybrid. After being initially unsure, it would now be the club I’d play in a 1 club challenge. Can’t believe how versatile it is, not just the longer shots but trees, bunkers, and even chipping around the green. Anyone else share this view?”
And our members have been sharing their views on 4-hybrids in our forums, with plenty of very positive reviews.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- GolfTurkey: “I have the G410 4 and 5 hybrids and won’t go back to a 4 and 5 iron; they are so easy to hit. Not a fan of hybrids for chipping because they are so “hot” off the face that I can’t control distance.”
- jsmcdon: “Best golf decision I ever made six or seven years ago was going to 3/4/5 hybrids, easier to hit, versatile, etc., and I’m a 5 handicap. Hybrids are for everyone!”
- eric61: “The G425 4 hybrid with the Rogue Black 95 TX shaft, which is a stock option, is fantastic. And if you have a tendency to hook hybrids, you can use the flat lie angle setting. Love it.”
- Billfitz: “I could see using my 4H in a one club challenge.”
