In our forums, our members have been discussing the company New Level Golf and their clubs. WRXer ‘Philomathesq’ has created an appreciation thread for the brand, and is currently playing a full set of the company’s clubs – who he describes as the “best value proposition for clubs right now”. Our members share their thoughts, with the company’s 902 irons receiving plenty of praise.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- Shakespeare: “Have the 902’s…they are great feeling and as good as any other OEM …the wedges with the m grind are fine in the 56 and 52 deg…but too much bounce in the 60 deg imo…but they feel wonderful as well…comparable to the Hogan series of irons I would say as a boutique type brand.”
- conorgolf22: “I am a huge fan of Eric and New Level I started with the M Type wedges after being a Vokey guy forever. I really like the look of them. My only negative would be the amount of bounce in the 60. I moved on to the 902 irons, coming from 919F, and I could not be happier. I demoed the KBS TGI shaft, and it was great. I love those irons. IMO, you will be fine better attention to detail and customer service with any other company.”
- GWfool: “I went into the 902s from Srixon z745s, and I would say the feel is equal if not better in the 902s I was really shocked. I thought they’d be comparable, but they blew me away once I tried them.”
- mws82: “I’ve played 902 since they came out. They knocked the Bridgestone j15 CB out of my bag. I did do a demo and a proper fitting before purchasing. I also played the m wedges in 50 54 and 58. I wanted some pretty precise specs, and Eric delivered them right on the money. Top notch stuff at fair pricing and imo his forgings feel as good as anyone’s.”
