In our forums, our members have been discussing long heel to toe irons with low offset. WRXer ‘cavemeister’ describes his ideal iron as a ” longer heel to toe 919 pro hot metal”, and our members have been putting forward their suggestions that could do the trick for ‘cavemeister’.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- Mahamilto: “Mizuno HMB I think is about the same but is a great iron. I’m loving mine. P790 may be longer even so but spins less than what you got, and the lofts may even be stronger (but I would have to double-check)”
- Gehly: “Check Miura Passing Point straight necks….can’t find better-looking player’s cavity with larger head and minimal offset.”
- jasonTel3: “Bridgestone J40’s.”
- dmeeksDC: “J40 DPC is one of the better designs of a long heel to toe blade. I don’t know the offset, but it’s not noticeable. Also has an excellent sole. Great forged iron.”
- JoeHatesSnow: “Callaway Steelhead XR Pro.”
